First task is to remove the playfield out of
the cabinet and place on my rotisserie that I had made. Removed all rubbers,
lane guides, plastics, pop bumper assemblies - Completely stripped all parts
from the top of the playfield. Cleaned playfield with Novus 2 and applied Canarba Wax. Decided not to attempt any playfield touch-ups at this early stage
of my resto work. Replaced all light sockets and bulbs in playfield. Replaced
Pop Bumper bodies and caps, Replaced lane guides, posts and all rubbers, Replaced
Flipper Bats with original type plastic. Replaced all plastics with repos from
PBR.
All Bumper Caps and Bodies, Bulbs
and Sockets were replaced as well as all Rubbers and Flippers.
APRON
Top apron was repainted, however
lower apron and ball shooter were in bad condition ( scratched and rusty ).
Unfortunately I was unable to locate another apron, I rubbed back apron and
shooter and applied 1 coat metal primer, 2 coats of undercoat , 2 coats of
acrylic white and then applied the Waterslide Decals,
